Don is the CFO for The Well•Spring Group, a diversified aging services organization in the Greensboro area. He is a CPA licensed in the state of North Carolina. Don has served on numerous nonprofit boards throughout the years. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Don and his wife Katherine have four children.
Richard has more than 26 years of experience in finance and accounting and is the CFO of Columbia Forest Products. Prior to Columbia Forest Products he worked in the public accounting, retail and distribution fields. He played tennis collegiately at Guilford College from 1987-1991 and continued to play competitively across North Carolina after graduation garnering several state titles in both singles and doubles. Richard has been a GTP Foundation board member for four years and serves on several committees within the Foundation. He is married (wife Robin) and has two children.
Rick has been involved with the board since 2015. He is a practicing oral and maxillofacial surgeon and has owned and grown his business the last 25 years. He has degrees from Miami University, Ohio Sate University (DMD) and Washington University.He has extensive involvement in youth athletics throughout his adult life, having coaching experience in multiple sports at the youth and high school levels.
Sandy has been on the board since 2015. She earned a Finance degree from the University of Notre Dame and then her JD from Ohio State University. She brings a perspective to the board having raised eight children and being involved in youth sports over the last 25 years. She has been involved in competitive tennis her whole life both as a participant and a parent to highly competitive players. She is also a successful small business owner with expertise in design and retail.
I was born in Brooklyn NY in 9/10/1941, and attended Forham University; later, started my career with Bristol Myers in the Products Division. Over the next 16 years, I had opportunities in various divisions, including Field Sales, and later, as head of the Sales Promotion Division in the home office. I moved with my family in 1981 to North Carolina to form my own company, Russell Fashion Foot Hosiery. I continue to operate as president and owner.
I currently serve on the Board of Starworks Center for Creative Enterprise in Star, NC, and also on the Outreach Committee of Holy Trinity Episcopal church in Greensboro. I serve on the Board of Overseers of the Cancer Center of Duke Hospital for the past 15 years, actively supporting the innovative research programs there. I served as a Board member of the Broach Theatre.
I have two adult children, Paul and Caitlin, and four grandsons. My wife Teresa is a retired healthcare professional, and now spends many happy hours in her studio, creating a variety of ceramics. We enjoy spending our free time traveling and experiencing the places and cultures of the world. We enjoy cooking together and experimenting with the dishes, flavors of our travels. We share a passion for reading, and spend many hours with our books.
